Many sites, not only from Belgium, are dedicated to the Belgium Beers. I mention some, I like most.
- breWorld contains adresses and other information of Belgian breweries, but also news, details on brewery technics.
- Beers of Belgium presents a list with information and adresses of 127 Belgian breweries.
- Belgian Beer Styles gives some tasting notes and prices of a number of Belgian beers, which can be ordered. Unfortunately surfing inside the site is difficult.
- Belgium Beers informs you e.g. the different beer styles of Belgium and much more about Belgium.
- The on-line multi media guide to Belgian Beer presents information on different aspects of Belgian beer.
- Global Beer Network is dedicated to many aspects of Belgian beers.
- The complete Belgian Beer list of Geert van de Wiele is a really long list of beers available in Belgium. I do not know wether it is really complete, but it is really very long. T find it you have to click Belgian beers in his site and than at the bottom of that page.
- The Breweries of Wallonia is specialised in the beers of Wallonia.
- The Beers of French Speaking Europe is dedicaded to the Beers of Wallonia and French.
- Welcome to the Beer Paradise is promising site of the Confederation of Belgian Breweries, but mainly still under cinstruction.
- The Belgian Beer Shrine also contains information on different beer types and other general information and a chat box.
- Benelux Beerguide is the site of Peter Crombecq, the auther of the Bier Jaarboek (the Beer Yearbok).
- De Objectieve Bierproevers is a site in Dutch, though an English and French translation is promised. The Bierproevers (Beer Tasters) want to keep the Belgian beer culture alive. They organise activities and they bring malversations into day light.
- Belgium Beer Paradise gives some links to other Belgium beer sites and general information on Belgium.
- Welcome to the home of the Best Belgian Beers also provides general information and information on some breweries.
My favourite beers from Belgium are these real:
Trappist Beers
Chimay of the Abbaye de Scourmont
- Orval of the Brasserie d'Orval
- Rochefort of the Abbey of Notre dame de Saint Remy
- Westmalle of the Abbey of Trappist of Westmalle
- Westvleteren of the Abbey Saint Sixtus
- There is one trappist from the Netherlands: La Trappe of the Schaapskooi
But also I like the beers, which are brewed like the trappistst:
Abbey Beers
The links mentioned above contain a lot of information on these beers. Unfortunately, I found just two websites of these beers, though I think, there must be more.
For the real warm summer evenings, I like the:
Wheat Beers
I did not find links about wheat beer without the adding of yeast (I am not very familiar with these beers) are:
Gueuze (Lambics)
Of the lambics (generally) with fruit juice (I do not like them very much, I found one link:
Fruit Beers
Other Beers
